When the Wind Changes - 2nd Cut

This is the second cut of our thriller. We re shot some of the shots behind the stage to get better lighting, as our previous audience feedback said it was too dark. We also did some more shots in the hospital room as there wasn't enough footage.

Teaser Trailer - Improved

We had a couple of sound issues on our last trailer so this is the improved version.

Teaser Trailer

Using some of our footage, we have put together a teaser trailer in order to give our audience an idea of what our film will be like and encourage them to watch it. We have used short clips of our footage, with even shorter shots of the windmill complimented by a loud boom to let our audience know that the windmill is dangerous. The trailer ends with a shot of our character Alice seemingly dead on the floor, which we hope will hook our audience in as they will want to find out what happened to her.

I have been updating our social media regularly of our latest progress on our project. I have released photos of our make up look and what goes on behind the scenes. Ive done this in order to create a buzz for our target audience and keep them updated so that they are stay interested. especially as our target audience is 15 year olds and older, who would most probably have a media presence in this day and age due to the proliferation of use in technology.

This is a diary vlog of the day, we filmed the first half of our thriller film. Daisy filmed and edited this as well as taking photos while Laura filmed Amy to get the footage we needed, this vlogs shows how we got it. The vlog features Laura and Amy and is a team effort.

Hair & make up look

We aimed to make her look washed out and tired. I did this by using pale foundation, very little mascara and put dark eye shadow under her eyes. I gave her a fresh bruise so that it appeared it had just happened but it is a mystery how. we kept her hair basic and as if she has just put it up messily so that the audience can relate to her.

Equipment of one camera that we are going to use

This is one of our camera which we use for vlogging to take photos on. we also have a tripod which grips on to all sorts of objects. there is a sprit level which allows us to be able to film straight and not with a shaky camera.

Mistakes of our first time filming using new camera, what went wrong.

Yesterday me and Amy attempted to film using our camera for the first time of us making fake blood as a practice. unfortunately, we made a mistake of filming it on a AVCHD file which has made it hard for us to transfer the videos in order to edit them. I have made sure that the settings has been changed to a MP4 file so that this doesn't happen again. The video will be uploaded in bad quality because of this just to show our mistakes and progress which ill be made. These pictures also show our actual quality which half of our posts will be filmed on.
